App: Gallery (com.gallery.glass.nine)

This Privacy Policy explains how the Gallery app (“Gallery”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the app on your Android device.

1. Summary

Gallery is a device gallery. Your photos and videos stay on your device. We do not create a user account, and we do not operate a cloud library for your media. The app may show ads and load advertising settings over the internet.

2. Information we process

Photos, videos, and files on your device

With your permission, Gallery reads images and videos already stored on the device so it can show, search, favourite, album-organise, trash, share, rotate, and edit them. Edited files may be saved back to the device library. Media is not uploaded to our servers.

App settings stored on the device

Gallery stores small preferences locally, such as favourites, trash markers, onboarding completion, and cached ad settings. These stay on the device unless you clear app data or uninstall the app.

Device and network information for ads

To load ads and decide whether ads should be shown in your region, the app may use:

  • Internet connectivity and advertising identifiers processed by Google AdMob and its partners
  • Approximate region from SIM/network country, device locale, and IP-based lookup (no GPS permission is used)
  • Advertising configuration from Firebase Realtime Database

IP lookup, if used, is sent to third-party geolocation services (currently ipapi.co and ipinfo.io) to estimate country or region. We do not use your precise location.

3. Permissions

  • Photos and videos / storage. Required to display and manage media on the device.
  • Internet and network state. Used for ads, ad configuration, sponsored pages, and optional region checks.

You can withdraw media permission in Android Settings. Without it, Gallery cannot show your library.

4. Advertising

Gallery may display banner, native, interstitial, app-open, and in-app website ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob and may include content from advertisers. Some ads open inside the app. The app operator can hide ads in selected regions.

Google and advertising partners may collect device and usage data to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where allowed. Review Google’s advertising policies and, where available, Android ad settings or opt-out of ads personalisation.

5. Children’s privacy

Gallery is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information through the app, contact us using the details below.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your photos or videos. Information may be processed by:

  • Google (AdMob, advertising measurement, and related services)
  • Firebase (remote ad configuration)
  • IP geolocation providers used only to estimate region for ad display rules

These providers process data under their own policies.

7. Retention

Media remains in your device library until you delete it. Local app preferences remain until you clear app data or uninstall. Advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to limit what the app accesses to what is needed for gallery and advertising features. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

9. Your choices

  • Deny or revoke media and storage permissions in system settings
  • Reset advertising ID or limit ad personalisation in Android settings
  • Clear app data or uninstall Gallery to remove local preferences

10. International processing

Advertising and configuration services may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States, subject to applicable law and those providers’ terms.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of Gallery after an update means you accept the revised policy.

12. Contact

For privacy questions about Gallery, contact the developer through the app’s Google Play Store listing for package com.gallery.glass.nine.
