By using Gallery you agree to use the app to browse media already stored on this device.
Sponsored content, if shown, opens inside the app. You can leave sponsored pages at any time with the close control.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gallery Android app. By installing or using Gallery you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the app and do not use it.
1. The app
Gallery lets you browse, search, favourite, organise, share, trash, restore, and edit photos and videos that are already stored on your device. It is not a cloud backup service and does not replace your device’s own storage or operating system.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Gallery on Android devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and applicable law.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, or create derivative works of the app except as allowed by law.
3. Your media and permissions
You are responsible for the photos, videos, and other content on your device. Gallery only accesses media after you grant the required Android permissions.
Editing, moving, trashing, restoring, or deleting media can change or permanently remove files on the device. Confirm those actions carefully. We are not responsible for loss of media caused by device storage issues, permission denial, operating-system limits, or actions you take in the app.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Gallery to:
- break any law or third-party rights
- interfere with the app, ads, or related services
- attempt unauthorised access to networks, accounts, or other devices
5. Advertising and sponsored content
Gallery may show advertisements, including banners, native ads, full-screen ads, and in-app web pages. Sponsored pages can be closed at any time with the close control.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob and other partners. We do not control all advertiser content. Advertisements do not mean we endorse the advertised products or services. Use of ads is also subject to Google’s policies.
6. Third-party services
The app may use Firebase for configuration, Google AdMob for ads, and optional IP-based region checks. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or offers you open from an ad.
7. Intellectual property
Gallery, including its name, design, and code, is owned by the developer or its licensors. Your photos and videos remain yours.
8. Disclaimer
Gallery is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or Android version.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Gallery. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid to download it (if any), which is typically zero for a free install.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Age
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum digital consent age in your country, to use Gallery. If you are under the age of majority, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission.
11. Changes and termination
We may update Gallery or these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms. We may stop offering the app at any time. You may stop using Gallery by uninstalling it.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise. Local mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
